Why become a Library Member ?
The video and notation files are free - right ?
Absolutely, but because of the volume of visitors and the number
of free videos available, our bandwidth costs have soared. So for the time
being, the public lesson videos are available at a stream of 20kps. Low enough for a 28.8 modem to
receive, but not the best viewing quality - I know. To correct this problem, we have
compiled a 220kps high resolution video directory of all
our videos . As a member you can access these high resolution files
at any time and as often as you like.
These video files have a playback stream of 220kps which is
10x the quality of a 20kps stream. They play large and clear. 3x the screen size and 10x the picture
quality. Our goal is to eventually have thousands of media-rich music
lessons with the notation files to accompany each lesson online for you.
Try the free samples to the right and SEE the difference !

To support this resource, we are asking you to join
our library. As member you can access and download all the high
resolution files you want, when you want, and as often as you want.
Why Adult and Kids memberships ?
We subsidize the Kids membership in hopes of encouraging more children to
start making music We offer membership to kids at a discount of 50% for
just $9.99.
With the help of your contribution we will be able to continue producing more and more
music lesson video files for
you to view and download.
About the music notation files
The notation files available to view over the web have a
print quality resolution of 72 dpi (dots per square inch). These look fine on your monitor, but
print poorly on your printer. Web browsers don't allow for a higher resolution.
To
correct this problem, we compiled a "Music Notation Download Directory",
for library members.
The files from
this directory have a print quality resolution of 300 dpi. These files print
clearly and are of sheet-music quality.
To support this resource, we are
asking you to join
our library. With your support we will be able to offer thousands of media-rich music lessons with the notation files to accompany each
lesson online.
Join now and take advantage of this amazing new resource for learning how to play a
musical instrument.
Thank you for your support and remember to tell your friends about the library. Sincerely,
Dan Lefler and the Library Staff.
I'll join now.
